Your eyes are one of the most delicate organs in your body. You will use them to read this article and you should protect them. The eye muscles are very small and if they get strained, they can be permanently damaged. This is why it is important to do yoga exercises for your eyes as well as practicing good eye care habits every day.
When doing any visual activity, there should be enough light—preferably natural light—and you should blink regularly while reading or working on a computer or watching TV so that your eyes stay moist and can have time to focus properly.
If at any point you feel that your eyes are starting to strain when reading, watching TV or working on a computer, stop what you’re doing for about 10 minutes and try these three simple yoga exercises for the eyes:
